Here are a couple ideas for storage near the companion way. Especially handy for single handers, it allows me to have quick access to items I might need. Everything from a rigging knife, to the wind speed gauge can be kept here in these storage nets.



Below is a unit I put together to hold a few magazines, my travel back gammon board, some books, glass and other like items. The whole unit slide forward, when the retaining pin is removed, to allow access to the factory storage. When the unit is in this retracted position, the contents are held in place deck above. Also on the left side of this picture is the holder for the VHF radio, though the radio is not there.

Hooks in the quarter berth keep line that might be needed, quickly accessable.
